LET'S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER
Bali Dive Resort and Spa in Tulamben and Bali Dive Resort Amed are sister dive resorts located on Bali’s northeast coast, operating under the same management, standards, and philosophy.
Bali Dive Resort and Spa opened in 2014 in Tulamben, followed by Bali Dive Resort Amed in 2019, expanding our presence along one of Bali’s most respected diving regions while maintaining a clear focus on quality, safety, and personal service.
A Dive Resort Identity
Both Bali Dive Resort and Spa (Tulamben) and Bali Dive Resort Amed are operated as dedicated dive resorts, with daily operations organised around diving activities and overall guest experience.
While each resort has its own setting and character, both follow the same operational standards and management approach, with an emphasis on efficient logistics, experienced dive teams, and a calm, well-organised daily rhythm shaped by local conditions.
Both resorts are PADI Eco Centers, reflecting a shared commitment to responsible diving practices, environmental awareness, and sustainable operations within the PADI system.
Experience, Safety & Standards
Diving operations at both resorts are run by experienced, licensed PADI professionals, following international training and safety standards.
We place strong emphasis on:
- Clear communication
- Proper dive planning
- Calm, well-managed courses and fun dives
- Consistent safety procedures
Bali Dive Resort and Spa in Tulamben is the only PADI Eco Center in Tulamben, and Bali Dive Resort Amed is the only PADI Eco Center in Amed, reflecting our commitment to responsible diving practices and environmentally conscious operations in both locations.
Our Team
Our team consists of experienced PADI professionals and local staff who share a strong commitment to safe, well-organised diving and personal guest service.
Across both resorts, teams work closely together to maintain consistent standards, clear communication, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere — both above and below the surface.
Our Background
Since opening in 2014, Bali Dive Resort and Spa has grown together with the local diving community in Tulamben. The opening of Bali Dive Resort Amed in 2019 allowed us to extend the same standards and approach to a second location, while keeping operations focused, personal, and carefully managed.
Rather than expanding quickly, both resorts have evolved with a clear emphasis on quality over quantity, long-term staff development, and a loyal base of returning guests.
Two Locations, One Approach
While Tulamben and Amed each offer a different setting and dive sites, both Bali Dive Resort and Spa and Bali Dive Resort Amed share the same core approach: safe, well-planned diving, experienced teams, and a calm, personal guest experience.
